an open letter From our @whocaresscot Family asking UK Gov Minister to Meet to Challenge #CEP StiGMA

To add your name to the letter and to be heard by @PennyMordaunt , email kmurray@whocaresscotland.org

This week, another community has rejected a children's home in their area. The view that Care Experienced people are bad, damaged and troubled has to end. Our @WhoCaresScot family have written an open letter, asking the UK Government Minister for Women and Equalities to meet and challenge this.

Stigma affects Care Experienced people in so many ways, for the rest of our lives. By affording the same protection as other minority groups, this can end. To add your name to the letter and to be heard by @PennyMordaunt , email kmurray@whocaresscotland.org

@WhoCaresScot Chair @Ryan_McCuaig & First Minister @NicolaSturgeon are leading this list:

@NicolaSturgeon You have my full support in this @whocaresscot - happy to join with you in exploring how @scotgov and the UK government can work together to tackle the unfair stigma suffered by care experienced young people, and replace it with love and care.

Thank you to our @whocaresscot family for leading this important campaign for change for equality for all #CareExperienced people #ChangeMakers
