Going through the care system had its ups and downs, mostly downs as my world had fallen apart. Despite this, I wanted to find happiness in my life so embarked on a creative career. It was not without its trials, tribulations and some people recoiling from me when they heard “foster care”.
I never let that stop me. My past is not who I am. I am now a professional artist. I have been a product demonstrator for Windsor & Newton art materials and I’m now a demonstrator for Pebeo. I also own a nail and beauty training academy and I’m a professional club singer too. I love my life and couldn’t have done it without my foster careers and in spite of all those that said I would never achieve anything.
I’m proud of what I’ve achieved and I now aspire to inspire others. I hold painting workshops for children and young people in the care system of all ages and I’m a trustee for a fostering charity to help try to improve the lives of our next generation that are currently being looked after. I hope I can make a difference and inspire others to achieve their dreams
